Welcome to Howling Tours and Safaris. By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all our clients. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
Booking and Payment
- Reservation Confirmation: To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required. This deposit confirms your reservation and is applied towards the total cost of your tour.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, major credit cards, and PayPal. All payments should be made in USD unless otherwise agreed.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the tour start date. If the booking is made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Late Payments: If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled by you, and the cancellation terms will apply.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by Client:
- More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
- Cancellation by Howling Tours and Safaris: We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, or you may choose to transfer to another tour.
- Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation.
Changes to Bookings
- Client-Initiated Changes: Requests to change your booking must be made in writing. We will accommodate changes where possible, subject to availability and any additional costs incurred.
- Agency-Initiated Changes: We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather, safety, or other operational considerations. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly, and alternatives will be provided where possible.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and emergency evacuation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the insurance policy is adequate for their needs.
Health and Safety
- Health Requirements: Clients must ensure they are medically fit to participate in the tour. Any health conditions or dietary requirements should be disclosed at the time of booking to ensure appropriate arrangements can be made.
- Safety Protocols: Clients must adhere to safety instructions provided by our guides at all times. This includes respecting local customs and wildlife, and following guidelines for safe travel in remote areas.
- Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, our guides are trained to handle a variety of situations. Clients are advised to follow their instructions and cooperate fully.
Liability
- Limitation of Liability: Howling Tours and Safaris is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour. Clients participate at their own risk.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, we will endeavor to offer alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of [Country], and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Country]. By booking with us, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.
